Hailey says so many silly things...but they are often the "guess you had to be there" types, so it's been a while since I've updated Haileyism Daily, but this one was definitely worth it...ENJOY!
While we were in church on Sunday, Hailey told me she was "hungary" and needed a snack. Well, she had already eaten the snack I packed, so I told her I didn't have anything, but she insisted on searching my purse anyway. *Side note: About a week ago, I packed 2 Oreo cookies in a plastic baggie and put them in my purse with the intentions on rewarding Hailey for eating dinner at restaurant we had gone to...well...needless to say, she did not earn the cookies, and after a week of being crushed in my purse they looked pretty sad...
Hailey: (pulls the bag of cookies...or cookie crumbles rather...out of my purse...Oh, and remember we are in church, but Hailey uses her regular-voice anyway): Mom! Really? Broken Oreo Cookies? Really?
Uh....I guess I should learn to control my sarcasm a little better. I have since become keenly aware at how often I, too, respond to ridiculous circumstances with a sarcastic "Really?"
